DESCRIPTION OF PROCUREMENT
Parking Lot Repairs at 130 Old Kingston Road

Parking Services of the Department of Campus Safety Operations at the University of Toronto Scarborough (UTSC) require a contractor to resurface a parking lot (approximately 100 parking spaces), paint parking stalls, accessible stalls, crosswalks, stop signs and stop bars and speed humps. The parking lot is located at 130 Old Kingston Road in the UTSC Valley.

Refer to Schedule 1 of the Form of Agreement for a Description of Goods and/or Services.

Scope of Work Highlights
Work included is as follows:

Removal of existing asphalt.
Gravel and compact HL8 for the base and HL3 for the topcoat. Proponents to recommend/specify thickness.
Paint approximately 100 parking stalls.
Paint four accessible stalls and relocate existing accessible signage to appropriate locations.
Paint one “T” intersection with stop bars, relocate one stop sign and add two new stop signs. Paint a crosswalk.
Paint another “T” intersection with stop bars and add three new stop signs and paint a crosswalk.
Refresh yellow paint over two speed humps.
The paint should spayed to a minimum 22 millimeters wet thickness in accordance of Book 7 and 11 in the Ontario Traffic Manual.
Topsoil and seed any, and all sod damaged during construction.

CONDITIONS FOR PARTICIPATION
The procurement is subject to the following conditions for participation:
Proponents will adhere to the University of Toronto General Labour Conditions.
