DESCRIPTION OF PROCUREMENT
Interior Renovations to Science Wings Rooms SW553 Research Laboratory, and SW506D, B, C, and F Teaching Laboratory
The University of Toronto Scarborough (UTSC) Design and Construction Management department requires general Contracting services for the interior renovation of 80.0 square meters of laboratory research space located in Room SW553, of the Science Wing at UTSC, referred to as Project SW553 in this RFP, and,120.0 square meters of flat classroom teaching space located in Room SW506D, B, C and F, of the Science Wing at UTSC, referred to as Project SW506D, B, C, and F in this RFP.

The procurement will not involve negotiation.  An electronic auction is not anticipated.

CONDITIONS FOR PARTICIPATION
The procurement is subject to the following conditions for participation: Proponents must achieve a minimum score of 70% of each rated criteria category, 1 through 3.
Proponents will adhere to the University of Toronto General Labour Conditions

This procurement is subject to the following trade agreement(s):
The Canadian Free Trade Agreement, Chapter Five
The Ontario-Quebec Trade and Cooperation Agreement, Chapter 9

CONTRACT DETAILS
One time only purchase of services for specified scope of work.
Milestone schedule:
Earliest project construction for general contractor:  June 25, 2020
Substantial completion by October 6, 2020.
