DESCRIPTION OF PROCUREMENT
Highland Hall Shell Space Interior Renovation
Design and Construction Management requires General Contracting services for the interior renovation of approximately 774 m2 of storage space on the lower ground level of the Highland Hall, University of Toronto Scarborough. As part of the renovation, successful proponent to coordinate with compact mobile shelving supplier in completing the finished flooring of the storage space.
Work included are as follows:

Demolition and removal of existing mechanical, and electrical infrastructure as required in preparation for the new storage space. It is anticipated that the space is clear of asbestos containing material; however, contractor may encounter unforeseen asbestos.
Installation of new dry wall, doors & frames, millwork, lighting fixtures, power & data, HVAC.

The procurement will not involve negotiation. An electronic auction is not anticipated.

The submissions will not be opened publicly.

CONDITIONS FOR PARTICIPATION
The procurement is subject to the following conditions for participation: Proponents must achieve a minimum score of 70% of each rated criteria category, 1 through 3.
Proponents will adhere to the University of Toronto General Labour Conditions

APPLICABLE TRADE AGREEMENTS
This procurement is subject to the following trade agreement(s):
The Canadian Free Trade Agreement, Chapter Five
The Ontario-Quebec Trade and Cooperation Agreement, Chapter 9]

CONTRACT DETAILS
One time only purchase of services for specified scope of work.
Milestone schedule:
Earliest project construction for general contractor: March 3, 2020
Substantial completion by June 15, 2020.

(e)   A letter of good standing with Workplace Safety
       and Insurance Board (WSIB)                                 Pass / Fail
(f)   CCDC 11 – 2019 Contractors Qualification
       Statement                                                                Pass / Fail

Proponents Meeting will be held on February 11, 2020 at 10:00 am.
Contractors are to meet inside the main Science Wing Doors on Level 3 (by the elevators) at the University of Toronto – Scarborough Campus, 1265 Military Trail, Toronto, ON M1C 1A4
