DESCRIPTION OF PROCUREMENT
Implemented by the Facilities Management Department, the University of Toronto Scarborough is seeking professional engineering, fabrication and installation services to supply and install new exterior commercial glazing in existing locations in 5 Level of Humanities Wing Building at the University of Toronto Scarborough.
The procurement may involve negotiation.  An electronic auction is not anticipated.

The submissions will not be opened publicly.

CONDITIONS FOR PARTICIPATION
The procurement is subject to the following conditions for participation:
Proponents must achieve a minimum score of 70% of each rated criteria category, 1 through 3.

APPLICABLE TRADE AGREEMENTS
This procurement is subject to the following trade agreement(s):
The Canadian Free Trade Agreement, Chapter Five
The Ontario-Quebec Trade and Cooperation Agreement, Chapter 9

CONTRACT DETAILS
Proponent(s) will enter into contract with the general contractor awarded the work for renovation project as described in Appendix A in the RFP documents.   It is expected glazing work will align itself with the delivery and completion date of the renovation project.
Milestone schedule:
Contract Award to general contractor:  December 2019
Substantial completion April 20, 2020

EVALUATION CRITERIA
The University will base its selection of qualified suppliers on the following criteria:

1. Experience and Qualifications (25 points)
2. Project Personnel (15 points)
3. Project Understanding and Schedule (20 points)
4. Pricing (40 points)
