Description:
This Request for Proposals (“RFP”) is an invitation by Student Housing and Residence Life on behalf of The Governing Council of the University of Toronto (the “University”) to prospective Proponents to submit Proposals for the provision of Cleaning Services for Student Housing & Residence Life and Conference Services as further described in Part 2 – The Deliverables (the “Deliverables”).
Cleaning services are required year round but especially from early May to September and will be divided up into several parts: Move Out cleaning of 114 townhouses and 55 apartments (to be accomplished in a few days in early May), house set up and turnover cleaning of houses and apartments as required by Conference Service bookings throughout the summer, final cleaning in late August before students return, periodic cleaning of carpets and furniture, plus common room cleaning and other miscellaneous cleaning and set-up tasks associated with business activity.

Time-Frame for Delivery/Duration of Agreement:
October 1, 2018 start date. Three year agreement, with option to extend for additional three years (in one year increments).
Negotiation:
At the end of the evaluation process, the University of Toronto Scarborough may identify one or more bidders with whom it wishes to enter into negotiations, by written notification.
Responses must be submitted in English.
