The University of Toronto (the “University”) has a requirement for CMOS-based NMR System for nL Analysis. The technology requested uses active electronics directly interfaced to miniaturized highly multiplexed detection coils to overcome losses in transmission lines and open up a new microscopic world to NMR. The technology will allow the Environmental NMR Center (University of Toronto) to pioneer nanoscale NMR and become the center for trace and mass-limited environmental analysis globally.
The purpose of this Advance Contract Award Notice (ACAN) is to signal the University’s intention to award a contract for the above-noted goods and/or services to the following pre-selected supplier:

Prior to awarding this contract, the University is providing other potential suppliers with the opportunity to demonstrate that they are capable of satisfying the requirements as per this ACAN, by submitting a Statement of Capabilities during the posting period.
If other potential suppliers submit a Statement of Capabilities that meet the University’s requirements as set out in the ACAN, the University may proceed to a competitive procurement process.
If no other supplier submits a Statement of Capabilities on or before the closing date/time, a contract may be awarded to the above-noted pre-selected supplier.
