REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST
The University of Toronto is seeking expressions of interest and qualifications for a potential partner to jointly acquire and/or develop the recently made available property located at 250-252 College Street and 33 Russell Street commonly known as the CAMH site (the “Site”). The Site is located within the University of Toronto Secondary Plan Area and designated and zoned for institutional use. The University is interested in acquiring the Site and committed to maintaining the Site as institutional. Interested respondents are to provide their qualifications with emphasis on presenting recently accomplished high-quality large scale developments, preferably incorporating an institutional function. Past projects that demonstrate successful community engagement, particularly involving a large institutional partner, will be of special interest to the University. Additionally, respondents will provide a brief outline of the basics of the potential arrangement such as proposed ownership structure, and a general description of potential development plans including the overall proposed building areas. This overview sheet will be the basis of further discussion with the more successful respondents and the University.
