P001-15-031 Commissioning - University College Revitalization---Commissioning Consultant

Request for Proposal for Commissioning Consulting Service for the University College Revitalization.
 
The University of Toronto (the “University”) is issuing this Request for Proposal (“RFP”) so that Vendors may provide the University with quotations (the “Quotation”) for the University College Revitalization (the “Project”).
 
A description of the scope of services is as follows:
 
The role of the Commissioning Consultant will be to verify and document that building systems are designed, installed, functionally tested, free of deficiencies and capable of being operated and maintained to perform in conformity with the Owner’s Project Requirements. The Commissioning Authority shall ensure that the systems are properly turned over from contractor to F&S Operations.
 
The Commissioning consultant shall also provide analysis confirming compliance with the University of Toronto Design Standards prior to project’s issuance for tender.
SYSTEMS TO BE COMMISSIONED

1. Heating, Cooling, Ventilation, and Exhaust Systems
2. Building Automation and Controls
3. Electrical Systems for power distribution & protection, and lighting control (Z320-11 5.3 in part), including new Generator.
4. General review of Life Safety subject to OBC 3.2.4.6. (coordinate with the University Fire Prevention)
5. Elevator and Elevator Controls as per specifications and standards.
