DESCRIPTION OF PROCUREMENT

The University is conducting an RFP for Supply and Installation of Vinyl Wall Covering at Chestnut Residence

Chestnut is looking to upgrade the existing vinyl wall covering at the Residence. The Successful Proponent shall supply and install vinyl wall covering in the residential rooms for 20 floors at Chestnut Residence. Generally, each floor has thirty-two (32) rooms plus one (1) Don Suite (2 rooms).

Chestnut currently has 196 rolls of vinyl wall covering which shall be provided to the Successful Proponent. The Successful Proponent shall be utilizing this current stock of vinyl wall covering first and shall provide the rest of the same vinyl wall covering required for uniformity to complete the work.

The implementation of this project upgrade shall be done in phases. This approach is to utilize the summer months when most of the students are away while accommodating current residents as well as to allow for annual budget approval and allocation. The implementation shall be done every year for a period of seven (7) years.

The procurement is anticipated to involve negotiation. An electronic auction is not anticipated

ADDRESS AND FINAL DATE FOR SUBMISSIONS
Submissions must be submitted electronically at https://utoronto.bonfirehub.ca/ on or before Monday, April 17, 2023 (2:00 PM local time). The submissions will not be opened publicly.

CONTRACT DETAILS
The term of the agreement is one (1) year with an option to extend to six (6) 1-year terms.
