DESCRIPTION OF PROCUREMENT

The University is conducting an RFP for Commercial High Volume Conveyor Dishwasher for Chestnut Residence

Chestnut Residence & Conference Centre serves student residence and as a conference and event space. The residence houses 1145 University of Toronto Students participating in a full-service dining meal plan serving over 25,000 meals. In addition, the Chestnut conference and events host many different events including large scale gala events of 300 plus. Chestnut Residence & Conference Centre with full commercial kitchen to serve the business including a Commercial High Volume Conveyor Dishwasher in need of replacement.

The Successful Proponent will be responsible for the disconnection, removal, and disposal of the current Conveyor Dishwasher. The Successful Proponent will be responsible for the delivery and installation of the new Conveyor Dishwasher.

The delivery and installation of the Conveyor Dishwasher is to be completed between August 14, 2023 - August 25, 2023. This means that the disconnection can start the morning of 14th of August with delivery and installation completed by 25th of August 2023. We will be closing Food Service in the building between these days to accommodate the installation.

The procurement is anticipated to involve negotiation. An electronic auction is not anticipated

Submissions must be submitted electronically at https://utoronto.bonfirehub.ca/ on or before Friday, February 24, 2023 (2:00 PM local time). The submissions will not be opened publicly.
