This Request for Proposals (“RFP”) is an invitation by the Department of Information and Instructional Technologies on behalf of The Governing Council of the University of Toronto (the “University”) to prospective Proponents to submit Proposals for the provision of a Four (4) Year Lease Agreement for IT equipment including Palo Alto Next-Gen firewall appliances, with subscription and licensing, described in Part 2 – The Deliverables (the “Deliverables”).

Time-Frame for Delivery/Duration of Agreement :
The Successful Proponent will be requested to enter into negotiations for an Agreement with the University for the provision of the Deliverables in the form attached as Appendix A to the RFP. It is the University’s intention to enter into an Agreement with only one (1) legal entity. The term of the lease Agreement is to be for a period of four (4) years. with an option in favour of the University to extend the lease Agreement for an additional one (1) year term for a potential total term of five (5) years). It is anticipated that the Agreement will be executed on or around July 2018.

Negotiation:
At the end of the evaluation process, the University of Toronto may identify one or more suppliers with whom it wishes to enter into negotiations, by written notification.
Electronic Auction:
The process does not involve an electronic auction.
