UTM 2016-17-25 - Supply and Installation of Air Cooled Magnetic Bearing Centrifugal Chiller

This Request for Tender (“RFT”) is an invitation by Facilities Management and Planning on behalf of Student Housing and Residence Life at the University of Toronto Mississauga (“UTM”) on behalf of The Governing Council of the University of Toronto (the “University”) to prospective bidders to submit Tenders for the provision of The Supply and Installation of Air Cooled Magnetic Bearing Centrifugal Chiller at the Oscar Peterson Hall Location, UTM Campus

Oscar Peterson Hall is a student residence located on the grounds of the Mississauga Campus of University of Toronto. Currently the building is equipped with air cooled chiller located on the roof of the building. Chiller has been not fully operational for over two years, only one circuit is operational at this point. Based on the age of the chiller and the cost of repairs as well as the noise level the chiller is generating, University made decision to replace the chiller with new, high efficiency, low noise level equipment.
