Description

This Request for Tender (“RFT”) is an invitation by Facilities Management and Planning on behalf of Student Housing and Residence Life at the University of Toronto Mississauga (“UTM”) on behalf of The Governing Council of the University of Toronto (the “University”) to prospective bidders to submit Tenders for the provision of Roofing Services for the Principal’s House Refresh.

Work under this Contract includes the replacement of the sloped shingled roof and the low slope
conventional roofs at the Principal’s House at the University of Toronto, Mississauga
Campus in the City of Mississauga in the Province of Ontario.

The Principal’s House is a 3 storey residential building with stone masonry walls, wood
framed windows and cedar shingle roofing. The building was constructed in 1885 and is a
designated heritage building. The roofing was reportedly replaced approximately 20 years go
and eaves trough and downpipes were replaced in 2015.
