Description:
This Request for Proposal (“RFP”) is an invitation by the Department of Chemical and Physical Sciences on behalf of The Governing Council of the University of Toronto (the “University”) to prospective Proponents to submit Proposals for the supply of a Liquid Chromatography Tandem Mass Spectrometry Instrument as further described in Part 2 – The Deliverables (the “Deliverables”).

This procurement is covered by Chapter 5 of the Canadian Free Trade Agreement.

Duration of Agreement :
The Successful Proponent will be requested to enter into negotiations for an agreement with the University for the provision of the Deliverables in the form attached as Appendix A to the RFP. It is the University’s intention to enter into the Form of Agreement based Appendix A with only one (1) legal entity. The University intends to award a Contract for a one-time purchase of a Liquid Chromatography Tandem Mass Spectrometry Instrument, however the University may enter into a service agreement with the successful proponent (please see appendix E). It is anticipated that the agreement will be executed on or around December 2017.
The University reserves the right in its sole discretion to defer any agreement or to cancel this RFP at any time before or after closing without providing reasons for such cancellation.

At the end of the evaluation process, the University of Toronto may identify one or more suppliers with whom it wishes to enter into negotiations, by written notification.
