DESCRIPTION OF PROCUREMENT
The University is conducting an RFP for four reach-in growth chambers for interdisciplinary collaborative research in biology.
These tightly controlled environmental chambers are critical in studying biological systems (bacteria, viruses, insects, and plants) and their mechanisms during climate change. These growth chambers must be cost-effective with precise control over environmental conditions (temperature, humidity, lights), and have important environmentally sustainable features. The four chambers must be identical to allow for multiple environmental conditions running simultaneously.
The procurement is anticipated to involve negotiation. An electronic auction is not anticipated.
