DESCRIPTION OF PROCUREMENT
The University of Toronto, Mississauga Campus is issuing this RFP for Four-stream Receptacle Bins (recyclables, paper, organics and waste to landfill)
This Request for Proposal issued by Facilities Management and Planning, at the University of Toronto Mississauga on behalf of The Governing Council of the University of Toronto is a request for 4-stream (containers, paper, organics, and waste to landfill) waste receptacles. This pilot project will replace the indoor waste receptacles in the Student Centre, Maanjiwe Nendamowinan, and the Meeting Place of the William G. Davis Building.
Should the pilot phase be successful there will be Phase 2 to provide bins campus wide.
The procurement is anticipated to involve negotiation. An electronic auction is not anticipated.

Submissions must be submitted electronically at https://utoronto.bonfirehub.ca/ on or before July 7, 2020 (2:00:00 PM local time).
The submissions will not be opened publicly.
CONDITIONS FOR PARTICIPATION
The procurement is subject to the following conditions for participation:
Proponents that do not achieve the minimum scores in the sections indicated below may not be eligible for consideration further in the RFP Process.
APPLICABLE TRADE AGREEMENTS
This procurement is subject to the following trade agreement(s):
- The Canadian Free Trade Agreement, Chapter Five
- The Ontario-Quebec Trade and Cooperation Agreement, Chapter 9
CONTRACT DETAILS
It is anticipated that the Agreement will be executed in March 2020.
The University will base its selection of qualified suppliers on the following criteria:
- Experience and Qualifications (15 points)
- Specifications (30 Points)
- Delivery, Installation, and warranth (15 points)
- Demonstration (10 points)
- Financial (30 points)
