Purpose
The Toronto police Operations Centre (TPOC) located at 40 College Street, Toronto Ontario is seeking to upgrade and augment its video display system (VDS) for the real time operations centre.
Submission Method

Submission Deadline

Site Visit (Recommended but not mandatory)
A non- mandatory site visit of Toronto Police Operations Centre (TPOC) at TPS will be held on Tuesday, August 20, 2019 at 11:00 a.m.
All bidders requesting a site visit must send an email to:

On the day of the site visit, bidders must sign-in at 10:45 a.m. at the Duty Desk on the Ground Floor, 40 College Street, Toronto, ON, M5G 2J3.
Scope of Work
The Toronto Police Service (TPS) will be looking to implement permanent and functional display technology that has the capacity to support policing operations for the next 8-10 years. The TPS will be seeking to leverage current display wall technology to augment existing Mitsubishi systems. This will include the procurement and installation of a 6 x 2 operational display wall, cabling and integration and centrally connecting existing and new systems.
Specifically, the systems to be provided must include.
- Video Display Systems (VDS) as well as options for associated Display Controller and control software comprising multiple video display devices, to be installed at TPOC.
- A video display wall view approximate size 27ft (width) by 5ft (height)
- Options for Video Control System (VCS) consisting of one (1) server, display cards, such as Datapath \ Matrox and network device.
All the hardware and software must be commercially available off-the-shelf products which can be enhanced with minimum customization to meet the specific requirements of this RFQ.
Term
This project is expected to commence early Q3, 2019 with a desired completion by end of Q4, 2019.
Piggyback
The TPS may, upon request, permit other publicly funded organizations within the City of Toronto and the Police Cooperative Purchasing Group (PCPG) to purchase against any Contract which may result from this RFQ. Bidders are requested to indicate on the Fee Summary form if they will extend the pricing, terms and conditions of this Bid to other government agencies, if the Bidder becomes the Contractor. The Contractor agrees to this provision, participating agencies may enter into a Contract with the Contractor for the purchase of the Goods described herein based on the terms, conditions, prices, and percentages offered by the Contractor. Minor changes in terms and conditions may be negotiated by participating agencies. Please note: copies of the Contractors submission may need to be provided to the interested agency (in confidence) in order to review prior to participating.
