Description

The Toronto Police Service (TPS) is researching solutions to manage vehicles towed by companies that are under contract with TPS.
The solution should provide auditing, archiving, vehicle tracking, day-to-day inventory management capabilities, and reporting on current inventory, by-law infractions and ad hoc requests. The solution should have the ability to assign (and remove) the necessary security access to contracted tow companies staff members and should also be able to interface with other applications (i.e. CPIC/MTO, Parking Applications, etc.)
The solution should also allow for future and continuous improvements, as TPS moves forward with their modernization initiatives. The current software that is being used was developed in-house and implemented long time ago.
