Bid Submission:
Submissions shall only be accepted electronically via the MERX Portal and as per MERX electronic clock no later than February 14, 2019 @ 1:00:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST). Submissions submitted in any other manner shall be found non-compliant and disqualified.

GENERAL PRODUCT REQUIREMENTS

The TPS is seeking bids from qualified Bidders for the supply, delivery, installation and setup of replacement audio video display equipment along with cabling in a specified number of double classrooms and one (1) double theater configurations, at the Toronto Police College (TPC) located at 70 Birmingham St., Toronto, thus replacing the current Crestron systems and connected hardware. The Bidder must be an authorized distributor, dealer and/or reseller, with qualified and certified service personnel for the supply and installation of the Crestron audio and video display systems.

The Bidder is responsible in providing a comprehensive and cost effective solution that is viable to TPC. The Bidder shall not compromise on the quality and effectiveness on the hardware, installation and service.

Scheduled Non-Mandatory Site Visit (strongly recommended)
A site meeting will be held on Thursday, January 31, 2019 @ 11:00 a.m. located at 70 Birmingham St., Toronto M8V 3W6.

The mandatory requirement stated in Schedule “A” of this RFQ is a minimum need that must be met by the Bidder. Any Bidder not filling in the mandatory requirements will be disqualified.

Bidders must confirm in their bid the ability the supply and install by March 31, 2019.

A site meeting will be held on Thursday, January 31, 2019 @ 11:00 a.m. located at 70 Birmingham St., Toronto M8V 3W6. All Bidders submitting a bid are encouraged to attend the site meeting. The Bidder will accept the requirements of the Work “as is” whether this site meeting is attended or not. No modifications to the bid will be accepted after closing of this RFQ.
