This Request for Quotation (RFQ) is an invitation by the Toronto Police Services (TPS) to prospective and qualified bidders to submit a quotation for Supply and Installation of 3 Tow Truck Wreckers on Chassis Supplied by TPS, as further described in this RFQ
Submission Requirements
Quotations must be submitted through the MERX Electronic Bid Submission (“EBS”) System prior to 1:00:00 P.M. local time on Monday, February 8, 2021 Local Time.

Bidders shall be solely responsible for the delivery of their submission using the MERX portal by the time and closing date, in accordance with the Submission Requirements outlined in the RFQ.

TPS reserves the right to reject any or all responses at its sole discretion.
Scope of Work
The scope of this RFQ includes the supply, delivery and warranty of Three (3) Tow Truck Wreckers as per the specifications.
The three (3) Ford F350 6.7 diesel chassis will be supplied by TPS. One regular cab SD 145” WB and two extended cab SD 168” WB. They are all 60 CA chassis. The Vendor shall be required to supply, install and fit all equipment listed.
They must be within the GTA boundary, able to perform warranty work, have parts readily available and be in business for at least the last five years.
Warranty
The Vendor shall provide a minimum of 2 year warranty on parts & labour. Vendor to provide description and terms of their warranty.
Piggyback (if applicable)
The TPS may, upon request, permit other Public Bodies to purchase against any Contract which may result from this RFQ. Bidders are requested to indicate on the Pricing Submission form if they will extend the pricing, terms, and conditions of this Bid to other Public Bodies if the Bidder becomes the Vendor.
If the Vendor agrees to this provision, participating agencies may enter into a Contract with the Vendor for the purchase of the Goods described herein based on the terms, conditions, prices, and percentages offered by the Vendor. Minor changes in terms and condition, including shipping and delivery options, may be negotiated by participating agencies.
Please note: copies of the Vendor’s submission may need to be provided to the interested agency (in confidence) in order to review prior to participating.
Non-Exclusivity
The creation of this RFQ shall not be a guarantee of exclusivity.
