Description
Supply and Delivery of Police Bicycles & Bicycle Parts for Toronto Police Service (TPS).
Closing Time
Electronic submissions will be accepted until Tuesday March 17, 2020 at 1:00:00 p.m. local time as per electronic bid clock identified on MERX.
Submission Requirements
Your submission for this RFQ #1365830-20 must be sent to TPS using the MERX portal only. Respondents shall be solely responsible for the delivery of their submission using the MERX portal as per the electronic bid clock identified on MERX and the RFQ closing date, in accordance with the Submission Requirements outlined in the RFQ. Late submissions are not permitted. Any Bid submitted after the submission deadline will be rejected.
Scope of Work
TPS is issuing this RFQ to obtain a Vendor for Police Bicycles & Bicycle Parts in accordance with the provisions and specifications contained in this Request for Quotation. Bidders must submit prices according to APPENDIX A – SPECIFICATIONS, APPENDIX B – FEE SUMMARY pg and APPENDIX C PROVISIONAL ITEMS & QUANTITIES FORM outlined in the RFQ.
Contract Term
The term of this contract is for a 1 (one) year period commencing upon award of the contract starting from Monday March 23, 2020 until March 22, 2021. TPS reserves the right to renew the contract for an additional 3( three 1-year periods. The renewal is contingent upon continued need, budget approval, acceptable performance and TPS approval if applicable.
Restrictions, Min requirements and Mandatories
In addition to the mandatory APPENDIX A SCOPE OF WORK & SPECIFICATIONS (pg12-15), APPENDIX B FEE SUMMARY (pg16), the following completed forms to be submitted:
- Section 1 TPS Policies Form (pg. 17)
- Section 2 Environmentally Responsible Procurement Form; (pg. 18)
- Section 3 Statutory Declaration Form; (pg. 19)
- Section 4 Key Personnel Form; (pg. 21)
- Section 5 Bidders Experience Form. (pg. 22)
Non-Exclusivity
The creation of this RFQ shall not be a guarantee of exclusivity.
Piggyback
The TPS may, upon request, permit other Public Bodies to purchase against any Contract which may result from this RFQ. Bidders are requested to indicate on the Fee Summary form if they will extend the pricing, terms, and conditions of this Bid to other Public Bodies if the Bidder becomes the Vendor. The Vendor agrees to this provision, participating agencies may enter into a Contract with the Vendor for the purchase of the Goods described herein based on the terms, conditions, prices, and percentages offered by the Vendor. Minor changes in terms and condition, including shipping and delivery options, may be negotiated by participating agencies. Please note: copies of the Vendors submission may need to be provided to the interested agency (in confidence) in order to review prior to participating.
