REQUEST FOR QUOTATION (RFQ) #1500742-22
This Request for Quotation (RFQ) is an open competitive invitation by the Toronto Police Service (TPS).
The scope of this RFQ includes the Supply and Delivery of Miscellaneous Automotive Parts and Supplies on as required basis as per the parts listed in Schedule A – Price Sheet. This is a two (2) year contract with an option to extend it for an additional two (1) one-year term.
SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Bids must be submitted through the MERX Electronic Bid Submission (“EBS”) System prior to 1:00:00 P.M. local time on Wednesday, May 11, 2022 (https://www.merx.com/).
Bidders shall be solely responsible for the delivery of their submission using the MERX portal by the time and closing date, in accordance with the Submission Requirements outlined in the RFQ.

TPS reserves the right to reject any or all responses at its sole discretion.
CONTRACT TERM
The initial 2-year contract term will commence upon award of the contract effective as of July 1, 2022 until June 30, 2024.
TPS reserves the right to renew the contract for two (2) additional one (1) year periods. The renewal is contingent upon continued need, budget approval, acceptable performance and TPS approval if applicable.
PIGGYBACK (if applicable)
The TPS may, upon request, permit other public bodies and the Police Cooperative Purchasing Group (PCPG) to purchase against any part of the contract which may result from this RFP.
Proponents are requested to indicate on the Pricing Submission form if they will extend the pricing, terms and conditions of this proposal to other government agencies including PCPG, if the proponent is selected.
If the Vendor agrees to this provision, participating agencies may enter into a contract with the Vendor for the purchase of goods and services described herein based on the terms, conditions, prices, and percentages offered by the proponent. Minor changes in terms and conditions may be negotiated by participating agencies.
Please note: copies of the proponents submission may need to be provided to the interested agency (in confidence) in order to review prior to participating.
LITERATURE
Bidders, where applicable, should submit complete literature on all items being included in their Bid including, but not limited to, standard manufacturer’s warranty, model numbers, part numbers, and other relevant documentation.
NON-EXCLUSIVITY
The creation of this RFQ shall not be a guarantee of exclusivity.
