REQUEST FOR QUOTATATION (RFQ) RFQ # 1295172-19
TPS is accepting submissions for the provision of Supply and Delivery of Miscellaneous Automotive Parts and Supplies on as required basis.
SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Submissions shall only be accepted electronically via the MERX Portal prior to 1:00:00 P.M. on March 18, 2019. Submissions submitted in any other manner shall be found non-compliant and disqualified.
TPS reserves the right to reject any or all responses at its sole discretion.
SCOPE OF WORK
The scope of this RFQ includes the supply and delivery of miscellaneous Automotive Parts and Supplies as per the parts listed in Schedule “1” – Price Sheet. Orders will be placed on an as required basis and will be requested via phone call or fax request.
The successful Bidder must guarantee delivery of the Goods ordered within 8 hours, preferable 2 hours for regular and rush orders, after receipt of a purchase order / blanket contract/ contract release order, to the delivery location specified by the TPS in accordance with this section. TPS reserves the right to use an alternate supplier, if the contractor is not able to provide rush orders within the specified time.
NON-EXCLUSIVITY
The creation of this RFQ shall not be a guarantee of exclusivity.
CONTRACT TERM
The term of this Contract is for two (2) years commencing upon awarding the Contract.
TPS reserves the right to renew it for an additional one-year (1) term based on the same terms and conditions, including pricing. This renewal is contingent upon continued need, budget approval, acceptable performance and Board approval if applicable.
PIGGYBACK (if applicable)
The TPS may, upon request, permit other publicly funded organizations within the City of Toronto and the Police Cooperative Purchasing Group (PCPG) to purchase against any Contract which may result from this RFQ. Bidders are requested to indicate on the Fee Summary form if they will extend the pricing, terms and conditions of this Bid to other government agencies, if the Bidder becomes the Contractor. The Contractor agrees to this provision, participating agencies may enter into a Contract with the Contractor for the purchase of the Goods described herein based on the terms, conditions, prices, and percentages offered by the Contractor. Minor changes in terms and conditions may be negotiated by participating agencies. Please note: copies of the Contractors submission may need to be provided to the interested agency (in confidence) in order to review prior to participating.
