This Request for Quotation (RFQ) is an invitation by the Toronto Police Services (TPS) to prospective and qualified bidders to submit a quotation for Supply & Install Lockers & Metal Storage Solutions, as further described in this RFQ
Submission Requirements
Quotations must be submitted through the MERX Electronic Bid Submission (“EBS”) System prior to 1:00:00 P.M. local time on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 Local Time.

Bidders shall be solely responsible for the delivery of their submission using the MERX portal by the time and closing date, in accordance with the Submission Requirements outlined in the RFQ.

TPS reserves the right to reject any or all responses at its sole discretion.
PREAMBLE
The Toronto Police Service has a number of storage solutions used throughout the Service. The intent of this Request for Quotation is to retain a vendor who can supply, deliver and install the following storage solutions:
- Clothing lockers
- Divisional Evidence LockersPrior to contract award, Vendor maybe requested to provide a sample locker for review prior to fabrication and delivery at no extra cost.
WARRANTY
The Vendor shall provide a minimum five (5) year standard manufacturer’s warranty on manufacturer defects and workmanship. Vendor to provide description and terms of their warranty. Said warranty shall include parts and labour. Warranty may be negotiated for a longer period(s).
Contract Term
The term of the contract will be for three (3) years from the date of the Award with an option to renew the contract for an additional two (2) one (1) year terms.
Piggyback (if applicable)
The TPS may, upon request, permit other Public Bodies to purchase against any Contract which may result from this RFQ. Bidders are requested to indicate on the Pricing Submission form if they will extend the pricing, terms, and conditions of this Bid to other Public Bodies if the Bidder becomes the Vendor.
If the Vendor agrees to this provision, participating agencies may enter into a Contract with the Vendor for the purchase of the Goods described herein based on the terms, conditions, prices, and percentages offered by the Vendor. Minor changes in terms and condition, including shipping and delivery options, may be negotiated by participating agencies.
Please note: copies of the Vendor’s submission may need to be provided to the interested agency (in confidence) in order to review prior to participating.
Non-Exclusivity
The creation of this RFQ shall not be a guarantee of exclusivity.
