Description
Toronto Police Service (TPS) is accepting submissions for the RFQ # 1336835-19 Supply, Delivery and Laundering of Rental Work Garments.
Closing Time
Electronic submissions will be accepted until 1:00:00 p.m. on Tuesday December 3, 2019 as per electronic bid clock identified on MERX.
Submission Requirements
Your submission for this opportunity must be sent to TPS using the MERX portal only. Respondents shall be solely responsible for the delivery of their submission using the MERX portal by the time and RFQ closing date, as per the electronic bid clock identified on MERX, in accordance with the Submission Requirements outlined in the RFQ. Late submissions are not permitted. Any Bid submitted after the submission deadline will be rejected.
Scope of Work
The scope of this RFQ includes the non-exclusive supply and service of Various Rental Work Garments for male and female employees suitable for use as and when required by various Toronto Police Service Divisions as per Section B – Fee Summary Form.
In order to be compliant, the Bidder must bid every item in Fee summary form, otherwise, the Bid will be non-compliant.
Purchases are not allowed with this Contract.
Contract Term
The term of this contract is for 1 (one) year period commencing upon award of the contract starting from Wednesday January 1, 2020 until January 1, 2021. TPS reserves the right to renew the contract for an additional two 1-year period. The renewal is contingent upon continued need, budget approval, acceptable performance and TPS approval if applicable.

SECTION G - Key Personnel Form
SECTION H - Bidder's Experience in Similar Work Form
Non-Exclusivity
The creation of this RFQ shall not be a guarantee of exclusivity.
PIGGYBACK
The TPS may, upon request, permit other Public Bodies to purchase against any Contract which may result from this RFQ. Bidders are requested to indicate on the Fee Summary form if they will extend the pricing, terms, and conditions of this Bid to other Public Bodies if the Bidder becomes the Vendor. The Vendor agrees to this provision, participating agencies may enter into a Contract with the Vendor for the purchase of the Services described herein based on the terms, conditions, prices, and percentages offered by the Vendor. Minor changes in terms and conditions, including shipping and delivery options, maybe negotiated by participating agencies. Please note: copies of the Vendor’s submission may need to be provided to the interested agency (in confidence) in order to review prior to participating.
SECURITY AND BACKGROUND CHECK
The successful vendor along with all assigned personnel will be required to undergo a security background check prior to commencement of any work.
