SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
ELECTRONIC BID SUBMISSIONS will be accepted until 1:00:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 22, 2018 as per electronic bid clock identified on MERX.
Your bid submission for this opportunity must be sent to TPS through the use of the MERX PORTAL only. Responses submitted in any other manner shall be found non-compliant and disqualified. Bidders shall be solely responsible for the delivery of their submission using the MERX PORTAL by the Time and Closing Date, in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
TPS reserves the right to reject any or all Bids at its sole discretion.
Scope of work
Quotations are invited for the supply of all labour, materials and equipment necessary to perform semi-annual (twice per year) routine inspections and certifications and emergency calls if required, of Fire Alarm and FM2000/Novec-1230 Fire Suppression Systems, annual calibration of a Honeywell fixed hydrogen gas sensor, for the Toronto Police Service, Telecommunications Services Unit. In addition, hourly rate quotations are invited for the supply of labour and repair service outside the scope of the flat-rate service portion of the quotation.
Non-Exclusivity
The creation of this RFQ shall not be a guarantee of exclusivity.
Term of Contract
The base term of this contract is for approximately two (2) years, i.e., from Jan. 15, 2019 to December 31, 2020 with an option to renew for two (2) additional one (1) year terms.
