November 2019- November 2022

Bids must be submitted through MERX Electronic Bid Submission (“EBS”) System, the electronic tendering systems used by TPS.

Closing Date and Time
Electronic submissions will be accepted until 1:00:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 29, 2019 as per electronic bid clock identified on MERX.

Pre-qualified intent
The Toronto Police Service (TPS) intends to establish a pre-qualified list for a three-year term, to bid on various renovation and construction services projects valued between 3 million to 15 million. The TPS intends to pre-qualify the seven (7) highest scored respondents who meet the minimum passing score (75%). The first project is anticipated to commence Nov 2019, upon Board approval of the prequalification list at its Oct 2019 meeting.

General Information
The pre-qualified list for contractors will be bidding large renovation projects that involve major interior renovations or additions in the value of $3M to $15M. TPS has a number of anticipated renovation projects in the next 3 years. Future work may include the following pending Command approval:

32 Division – Major Interior Renovation & Addition
12 Division – Major Interior Renovations
43 Division – Renovations of the Detention Area * pending scope
Any major renovation, additions or construction work, deemed necessary by TPS not identified above.

The work excludes any new construction/build projects.

All in accordance with the requirements stated in the RFQ document.
