TPS is accepting bids for the provision of Isilon Storage - Hardware, Software, Associated Peripherals and Professional Services.
Submission Requirements
Bids must be submitted through the MERX Electronic Bid Submission (“EBS”) System (https://www.merx.com/).

Bidders are to submit their bid through the MERX EBS System prior to 1:00:00 P.M. local time on Friday November 22nd, 2019.
Objectives
This RFQ is being issued for the acquisition of Isilon storage hardware, software, associated peripherals and related professional services for implementation into the TPS infrastructure environment.
TPS is looking to expand its Isilon scale-out network storage implementation at three (3) locations. The storage type will include a combination of both archival and mid performance disk to complement the current installation base. The amount of immediate storage TPS is seeking is approximately 4.2 Petabytes (PB) of useable storage which will be implemented among the three (3) locations. TPS may acquire additional storage capacity as listed in this RFQ.
The Bidder is to provide separate pricing for listed items per site as identified in the Pricing Submission Form Section. Please include all components (peripherals, switches, cables, connectors, transceivers, chassis kit, etc.) that may be required for the storage type and size indicated in the tables found in the Pricing Submission Form Section in order to complete a working and ready to use solution.
TPS reserves the right to vary the amount and storage types listed as well as quantities of peripheral components to ensure a completed functional solution can be implemented.
The Bidder must be at minimum an authorized Gold Tier Partner with Dell Technologies and will be required to provide proof of Tier level certification with their submission.

Mandatory Requirements
The Bidder must demonstrate that they are an authorized reseller of Isilon Scale-Out Network Storage with a minimum Gold Tier Partner certification by Dell Technologies, by providing a copy of their Gold Tier Certification (or higher).
Only those firms passing the mandatory requirements will move on to the next stage of evaluation
Term of the Contract
The term of this contract is for a one (1) year period commencing upon award of the contract.
TPS reserves the right to renew the contract for two (2) additional one (1) year periods. The renewal is contingent upon continued need, budget approval, acceptable performance and TPS approval if applicable.
Pricing shall be firm for the initial one (1) year period. If a price change is required in the option years, the Vendor must submit a written request to change pricing 90 days prior to the fixed term expiring or any option years thereafter to the attention of the Designated Official to consider your request. Any such adjustment request will be considered based on changes to CPI / IPPI Canada (Consumer Price Index / Industrial Product Price Index) or other relevant considerations for the type of Goods and/or Services, and will be subject to approval by TPS.
Piggyback (if applicable)
The TPS may, upon request, permit other publicly funded organizations to purchase against any contract which may result from this RFQ.
Bidders are requested to indicate on the Pricing Submission Form if they will extend the pricing, terms and conditions of their bid to other government agencies, if the bidder is the successful vendor. If the successful vendor agrees to this provision, participating agencies may enter into a contract with the successful vendor for the purchase of the goods and/or services described herein based on the terms, conditions, prices, and percentages offered by the successful vendor. Minor changes in terms and conditions may be negotiated by participating agencies.

Non-Exclusivity
The creation of this RFQ shall not be a guarantee of exclusivity.
