This Request for Quotation (RFQ) is an invitation by the Toronto Police Services (TPS) to prospective and qualified bidders to submit a quotation for Fumigation of Police Vehicles, as further described in this RFQ
Submission Requirements
Quotations must be submitted through the MERX Electronic Bid Submission (“EBS”) System prior to 1:00:00 P.M. local time on Thursday, February 18, 2021 Local Time.

Bidders shall be solely responsible for the delivery of their submission using the MERX portal by the time and closing date, in accordance with the Submission Requirements outlined in the RFQ.

TPS reserves the right to reject any or all responses at its sole discretion.
SPECIFICATIONS
The scope of Work includes fumigation of approximately 200 police vehicles on as required basis and as directed by Fleet Services.
Only qualified pest control exterminators licensed by the Ontario Ministry of the Environment to operate in the area as specified in this RFQ shall be permitted to bid on the services described herein.
Service must be available on a 24/7 hour basis with a 2 hour response time from initial contact.
Internal cleaning of vehicles is not required.
The Vendor shall be required to complete the monthly Vehicle Summary Form and submit to Fleet Services – See attached Schedule 1.
For the purpose of this RFQ the definition "pests" means interior insects such as lice, bed bugs and cockroaches.
CONTRACT TERM
The term of the contract will be for two (2) years from the date of the Award with an option to renew the Contract for an additional two (2) one (1) year terms.
Piggyback (if applicable)
The TPS may, upon request, permit other Public Bodies to purchase against any Contract which may result from this RFQ. Bidders are requested to indicate on the Pricing Submission form if they will extend the pricing, terms, and conditions of this Bid to other Public Bodies if the Bidder becomes the Vendor.
If the Vendor agrees to this provision, participating agencies may enter into a Contract with the Vendor for the purchase of the Goods described herein based on the terms, conditions, prices, and percentages offered by the Vendor. Minor changes in terms and condition, including shipping and delivery options, may be negotiated by participating agencies.
Please note: copies of the Vendor’s submission may need to be provided to the interested agency (in confidence) in order to review prior to participating.
Non-Exclusivity
The creation of this RFQ shall not be a guarantee of exclusivity.
