Description
TPS is accepting submissions for Supply and Delivery of Various auto parts (NISSAN, HONDA, TOYOTA, MAZDA, HYUNDAI and KIA) for Toronto Police Service (TPS).
Closing Time
Electronic submissions will be accepted until 1:00:00 p.m. on Monday March 9, 2020 as per electronic bid clock identified on MERX.
Submission Requirements
Your submission for this RFQ # 1373815-20 must be sent to TPS using the MERX portal only. Respondents shall be solely responsible for the delivery of their submission using the MERX portal as per the electronic bid clock identified on MERX and the RFQ closing date, in accordance with the Submission Requirements outlined in the RFQ. Late submissions are not permitted. Any Bid submitted after the submission deadline will be rejected.
Scope of Work
TPS is issuing this RFQ to obtain a Vendor of Record for in accordance with the provisions and specifications contained in this Request for Quotation. Bidders must submit detailed requirements and cost prices for Supply and Delivery of Various auto parts (NISSAN, HONDA, TOYOTA, MAZDA, HYUNDAI and KIA) according to APPENDIX A - SCOPE OF WORK AND SPECIFICATIONS and APPENDIX B – FEE SUMMARY FORM outlined in RFQ document. The Bidder may Bid on any package, i.e. only one, two, three or all packages. The intent is to award each package to the lowest compliant Bid. All items in each package must be bid on for your quotation to be considered.
Specifications
Bidders Must complete the column indicated with Yes / No after each specification statement in APPENDIX A. Failure to do so will result in your submission being disqualified. One of many other requirements is the vendor must have a minimum of one (1) location suitable for (a) ordering and emergency pick-up of Goods by the TPS and (b) warranty repair by certified technicians (can be the same location for both).
Contract Term
The term of this contract is for a 1 (one) year period commencing upon award of the contract starting from Wednesday April 1, 2020 until March 31, 2021 with an option to renew for an additional two 1-year period based on performance and other indicators.
Restrictions, Min requirements and Mandatories
In addition to the mandatory APPENDIX A, APPENDIX B, and APPENDIX C forms, the following completed forms to be submitted:
- SECTION 1 -TPS Policies Form
- SECTION 2 - Environmentally Responsible Procurement Form
- SECTION 3 - Statutory Declaration Form
- SECTION 4 - Key Personnel Form
- SECTION 5 - Bidder's Experience in Similar Work Form
Non-Exclusivity
The creation of this RFQ shall not be a guarantee of exclusivity.
PIGGYBACK (if applicable)
The TPS may, upon request, permit other Public Bodies to purchase against any Contract which may result from this RFQ. Bidders are requested to indicate on the Fee Summary form if they will extend the pricing, terms, and conditions of this Bid to other Public Bodies if the Bidder becomes the Vendor. The Vendor agrees to this provision, participating agencies may enter into a Contract with the Vendor for the purchase of the Goods described herein based on the terms, conditions, prices, and percentages offered by the Vendor. Minor changes in terms and conditions, including shipping and delivery options, may be negotiated by participating agencies. Please note: copies of the Vendor submission may need to be provided to the interested agency (in confidence) in order to review prior to participating.
