This Request for Proposals (RFP) is an invitation by the Toronto Police Services (TPS) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for the provision of Construction Management Services for a new 41 South East District Headquarter (41SEDHQ), as further described in this RFP.
Information Session and Site Visit (strongly recommended)
An information session will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 15th, 2019 at 10 a.m. in 2nd floor boardroom, 41 Division, 2222 Eglinton Ave. East. Proponents are to assemble at the Front Desk location. All proponents who intend to submit a response to this RFP call are invited to attend this event.
The term of this contract for the provision of construction management services shall commence upon Board approval and issuance of a signed Agreement and shall conclude two (2) years after substantial completion of work for the warranty period
- Proponents must have completed a minimum of four (4) and to a maximum of six (6) Law Enforcement construction projects in the past 15 years exceeding a construction value of $25M each.
- Proponents must provide a letter from their financial institution indicating their accounts are in good standing.
- The proponent shall acknowledge in writing its compliance with the City of Toronto’s standard policies that relate to and govern work being carried out for the City, its Agencies, Boards and Commissions for the following, but not limited to :
- Municipal Licensing & Standards
- Fair Wage and Labour Trade Policy
The TPS intends to enter into a CCDC 5B Construction Management Contract including supplemental for Services and Construction for this project with the successful proponent
