Description

Toronto Police Services (TPS) is looking to procure up to 100 automated external defibrillators (AEDs) by December 31, 2020. It also wishes to establish an agreement for the supply of these AEDs and accessories over the next five (5) years. The actual volume procured will depend on budgetary restraints and other internal considerations from year to year. As per section 13.18 of this RFP, Proponents should not interpret this volume as a guarantee of work.
TPS will require AED units that meet the following minimum specifications:

User replaceable batteries and electrodes
Fully automatic and scalable energy selection
Data recording capacity of at least 20 minutes
Able to perform a scheduled automated self-test
System status indicator on unit
Unit operation includes voice prompts
Accessory kit included
Unit is covered by at least a one year warranty

Under the resulting agreement, TPS may also require:

Replacement electrodes
Replacement Batteries
Compatible Storage Cabinets
