Description

Toronto Police Service is seeking a solution that uses technology or an existing call centre to address the issue of unforeseen and unanticipated surges in non-emergency call volume to Toronto’s PSAP. In addition to answering the overflow of non-emergency calls, the solution should also have the ability to dispatch from the call centre. The dispatch capabilities must include the ability to dispatch to Police, EMS and Fire Services.

While not the focus of this RFI, TPS is also interested in the capability of the solution to answer and dispatch 9-1-1 calls for emergency service during large-scale events that are unforeseen and unanticipated.
