The GTAA requires a contractor to perform general early works to enable the future construction of the vehicle inspection check point south as further defined in Annex A “Plans and Specifications”.
Interested bidders are to confirm their attendance with the Senior Sourcing Specialist prior to the site meeting via email to susan.barry@gtaa.com . Bidders are to provide their own reflective safety vest and proper identification for the site tour.
**GTAA NOTICE**
As a part of ensuring that contractors perform their work in accordance with GTAA safety requirements, applicable legislation, and good industry practices, contractors are required to meet the GTAA established levels of safety competence and compliance by successfully completing the Application for Safety Pre-Qualification. For expediency, it is recommended that bidders/tenderers make their Safety Pre-Qualification submissions prior to their Proposal Submission.

The GTAA will require all contractors to be Certificate of Recognition (COR) certified or can demonstrate active pursuit of certification by providing a “Letter of Status” from IHSA, as an alternative to full certification in the interim. This will be a requirement for all contractors bidding on jobs at the GTAA to have applied for, or already have. By achieving COR, the contractor demonstrates their health and safety management system has been developed, implemented, and evaluated on an annual basis through comprehensive internal and external audits and checks.
