REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL FOR CHECK-IN SYSTEM REPLACEMENT
Greater Toronto Airports Authority (GTAA), Aéroports de Montréal (ADM), Edmonton Regional Airports Authority (EIA) and Calgary Airport Authority (YYC) International Airports are seeking a state-of-the-art airport technology firm. This firm will be leading-edge and have detailed knowledge and understanding of emerging and new information technologies that are or could be applied to the aviation industry. They will partner with the Airport Authorities to leverage our existing aviation industry knowledge and cocreate the next big improvement in passenger processing. The combination of these airports account for more than 70% of total passenger volume in Canada, however this solution should be scalable to onboard other Canadian airports if required.
Benefiting from the shared airport common use systems platform between the participating Airport Authorities there is an opportunity to develop new innovative Check-In and boarding solutions centered on the simplicity and ease of use for passengers and airlines. These solutions should improve operational performance, provide efficiencies, streamline processes, and decrease operational expenses.
