PW2021-22 - Village of Portland – Replacement Sidewalk

The Township is undertaking a program of village renewal and sidewalk rehabilitation and replacement. As a part of this program the Township is seeking bids on replacing or removing 3 segments of sidewalk, including subgrade work, and finishing in the village of Portland:
• Approximate 42m stretch on Queen Street, from Perth Street to Colborne Street
• Approximate 110m stretch on Colborne Street, from Queen Street to St. Mary’s Street (including some small retaining wall work)
• Approximate 9m stretch on west side of St. Mary’s Street from Colborne towards Perth Street (This sidewalk is to just be removed and replaced with topsoil/seed to match adjacent lawn).
Additional panel replacements in the village are requested to be bid as a provisional item.
The Township of Rideau Lakes, hereinafter referred to as the “Township”, is seeking proposals from firms with the necessary expertise, hereinafter referred to as the “Bidder”, to implement Section 3 – Scope of Work.
