00002 - Implementation and Operational Support for Ontario’s New Virtual Walk-In Program

One Stop Talk is a virtual walk-in clinic for mental health counselling. Once launched, the program will offer children, youth, and their family’s immediate access to free mental health supports when and how they need them, reducing confusion and frustration in accessing child and youth mental healthcare. One Stop Talk aims to provide in-the-moment, easy-to-use therapeutic support and ensures direct referral to additional service when needed. It can help streamline access and reduce unnecessary waits for children, youth, and their families no matter where they live. Through One Stop Talk, the province’s child and youth mental health agencies become an integrated network, working together to support youth, when they need it and where they need it.
One Stop Talk has secured one-time funds to assist with continued program development and Phase 1 program launch. Additional implementation and change management supports to scale the program through Phase 2 and Phase 3, achieving significant sector penetration and participation in One Stop Talk (inclusive of Core Service Providers and Indigenous and Francophone organizations).
