Description

The Work involves the retrofit of the existing steam boiler system in the Power
Engineering Lab to utilize the steam produced to provide a training chiller. There will be
heat exchangers, new chillers, pumps and air cooled condensing units installed as
outlined in Description of Work Section 01 11 13, and in the specifications and drawings.

A MANDATORY site walk-through will be conducted on Thursday, December 14, 2017
at 9:00 AM. All prospective bidders are advised that they must be in attendance. Any
Tender received from a Bidder who was not represented at this meeting will be declared
invalid and the Tender will not be opened. Attendance will be recorded.
.2 Attendees shall meet at the main Security Desk Building A located at 2000 Talbot
Road West, Windsor Ontario
.3 Bidders shall carefully examine the site to ascertain the extent and nature of all conditions
affecting the performance of the work including the location of all services and equipment
which may need to be protected, removed or re-located.
.4 The Consultant and the Owners Representative will be in attendance.
