RFQ 2019-PD-235 - Shuttle Bus Services SFU Burnaby Campus

SFU is seeking an experienced and qualified Shuttle Bus Supplier to provide a 24-passenger transit Shuttle Bus with capacity for 2 Wheel Chair accessible seats and a Driver for regular scheduled Shuttles Services at Simon Fraser University Burnaby Campus. The Shuttle Service will run a loop beginning at Student Residences, stopping on University High Street and then on Nelson Way at Fraser International College (FIC). Specific details surrounding the Schedule and Route are attached to this RFQ as Appendix F & G. The Shuttle Service will operate as a regular service from Monday – Friday from 08:00 – 22:30 excluding statutory holidays and this schedule is subject to change as SFU may add additional stops to the existing shuttle route and adjust shuttle times based on demand and this may include adding additional shuttle service on the weekends. SFU will provide parking for both the Shuttle during off hours and the driver(s) at no cost in our gravel lot called “Residence West Lot”. SFU’s long-term plan is to have a zero emission Shuttle Bus Service at SFU Burnaby Campus. As indicted in the rated criteria section in Appendix C bonus points will be given to Suppliers who are able to provide a low emission vehicle

Mandatory Requirements:

a) Each quotation must include a Quotation Form (Appendix B) completed and signed by the respondent. Please answers all questions in Appendix B

b) Please complete the References list in Appendix D.

c) Please include a brief description of each type of Shuttle Bus offered to SFU including specification such as make, model etc.)
