Description

SFU is seeking a standalone two-port vector network analyzer with the required hardware and computer interface for data acquisition and analysis.
The network analyzer should be able to measure all of the two-port S-parameters over the complete range of 10 MHz to 40 GHz. The instrument should be compatible with broad research use by a range of different researchers in physics and engineering, but with a focus on testing passive microwave devices such as resonators and filters. The instrument should have a built in display and front panel controls for standalone operation. It should also have a computer interface for remote controlled operation. A high sensitivity over the entire range, but particularly in the GHz region, is important.
