Description

SFU is seeking a documentation system capable of scanning storage phosphor plates to detect corresponding radioactive signals derived from gels and membranes.

System requirements:

Capable of scanning storage phosphor-imaging plates
Capable of detecting energy produced by common isotopes (32P, 35S, 14C, 3H and 125I)
Wide dynamic range (> 5 orders of magnitude)
Pixel size (10-1000mm)
Image acquisition: computer (or equivalent) and software
Meet Canadian Standards Association standards
Installation and training
Warranty (minimum 3 years)
