Description

Clean Energy Canada (at the Morris J. Wosk Centre for Dialogue, Simon Fraser University) intends to commission a professional research firm or similar services provider with a specialization in in data modelling and analysis, and experience in the field of climate and energy policy analysis. The proponent will be asked to develop a comprehensive definition of the clean-energy sector, broken out into sector and sub-sectors and the industries comprising those sub-sectors. For each sub-sector and related industries, the proponent will develop current[1], 5-year historical, and 10-year historical estimates of overall economic activity, percentage contribution to GDP, and resulting employment numbers. Each of these estimates will be provided for each province, as well as aggregated nationally.
