Description

Simon Fraser University (SFU) invites commercially established firms to participant in a two-stage competitive process to select a Prime Contractor for the construction phase of the Applied Science Building Renewal, Renovation & Tenancy Improvement. The Burnaby campus address is: 8888 University Drive, Burnaby, BC.

Stage I of this process is an open Request for Statements of Qualifications (RFSQ) for Prime Contractors. At the conclusion of Stage I, SFU expects to identify a shortlist of top-ranked respondents who will advance to the Stage II competitive bidding process the Invitation to Tender (ITT), which will be evaluated based on price only.

SFU will host a non-mandatory information session and walkthrough. Participants should gather at the east main entrance of Applied Science building, facing Science Road at SFU Burnaby Campus.
All firms interested in this opportunity are encouraged to attend the information and walkthrough session to understand more fully the scope and scale of this project and to assist respondents in identifying their own comparable project experience which is to be documented in response to this RFSQ.
Please note the oral responses to any enquiry during this site visit will NOT be deemed to amend, add to or alter the RFSQ in any way unless issued in the form of a formal written addendum later.
