The Royal Canadian Mint (RCM) is a self-sustaining Crown Corporation with a mandate to produce circulation and non-circulation coins (for Canada and other countries), manage the domestic coinage system, and provide advice to the Government on all matters related to coinage. Its mandate also extends to the production and marketing of bullion and related refinery products and services for profit.
The RCM is planning the establishment of a multi-year, anticipatory contracting vehicle, by which it can engage the services of qualified individuals, agencies and small (boutique) enterprises, to fulfill professional services requirements on an as and when required basis for Contingent / Specialized Labour. Contingent Labour resources (Contractors and Consultants) are increasingly being used at the Royal Canadian Mint (RCM) for various reasons including supplementing specific knowledge gaps, increasing the flexibility and responsiveness of the workforce to meet project-specific resource needs.
By this open Notice of Proposed Procurement (NPP), the RCM is inviting technically experienced and financially stable and capable vendors within the anticipated Services Groups, Streams and Categories to submit their interest in responding to a subsequent RFSO/RFSA and attend an Industry Day Session based on the Stream of Expertise as detailed herein.
Vendors interested in responding to a subsequent RFSO/RFSA and attending an Industry Day Session must submit their Expression of Interest and Non-Disclosure Agreement using the attached two forms provided for download.
