Description

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS

Solution must be cloud-based management and processing, requiring no more than an agent/client software to be installed on protected endpoints.

System must co-exist with the existing RCM host based EDR solution-SEP (Symantec Endpoint Protection)

OVERVIEW OF REQUIREMENTS
The RCM currently leverages Symantec Endpoint Protection (SEP) version 14 on workstations and servers for malware protection, application and device control, host-based IPS and firewall protection. The RCM is seeking to supplement SEP with a cloud-based EDR technology to gain greater visibility into attack forensics, advanced protection against ransomware, automate remediation and isolation of compromised endpoints, and reduce the time spent by analysts to investigate anomalies.

The RCM is not seeking to replace SEP; therefore, the proposed solution must be able to coexist with SEP without interfering with its operation.

LIFECYCLE OF THE Solution
It is the intent of the RCM to apply a total cost of ownership to this procurement, such that the contract price will be inclusive of ongoing service, maintenance, and licensing fees as may be applicable.
The anticipated lifecycle of the resulting contract is anticipated to cover a period of three to five years.
