RFB for the Supply, and Delivery of Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Air Quality Instrumentation Replacement Components
Scope of Work
The Environmental Monitoring and Reporting Branch (EMRB) requires the procurement of air quality monitoring instrumentation and critical spare parts to support the operation of 38 Air Quality Health Index (AQHI) stations and 5 roadside air monitoring stations across Ontario. This equipment is essential for ensuring the continuous collection and reporting of real-time air quality data through the Ministry's website, which is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This data informs the public about current air quality, supports the issuance of health-based air quality alerts, and fulfills Ontario's commitments under the federal National Air Pollution Surveillance (NAPS) program.

The procurement is necessary to avoid disruptions in service caused by equipment failure or aging parts, ensuring that the ministry can maintain high-quality data reporting without extended downtime. The services and equipment are required on an ongoing basis to maintain operational integrity across all monitoring stations. These services are required across Ontario to support the province's air monitoring network, which plays a vital role in safeguarding public health and assessing long-term air quality trends.
