TENDER PARAMETERS
1. The “Food Service Equipment Contract” to be formed jointly between The Black Gold School Division, hereafter referred to as Owner, and the successful
equipment supplier/contractor.

2. The food service equipment to be delivered, uncrated and set into place at
Ohpaho Secondary School, hereafter referred to as Owner, and the successful
equipment supplier/contractor.

3. Payments shall be based upon the percentage of work completed from the contract amount, Net 30 days after equipment is on-site and set into place with a 10% holdback as required under the lien act.
4. All pricing to be based on equipment being delivered and set into place for owner possession approx. June 15, 2024 for owner sub-trades connections and owner operation Aug. 1, 2024
5. Tender Closing: Noon (MST) Tuesday, March 12, 2024, tender forms to be

6. All bidders must attend a mandatory site visit March 1, 2024. Meet Scott at the Bird site office, located on the site of the new school, at 9:55 AM for a 10:00 AM walk-through. Thirty (30) minutes will be allotted to view access and the new kitchen space.
7. Pricing to be submitted based on the manufacturer, model and accessories
specified.
1. Bidders to submit all pricing based on manufacturer / model specified and
where alternate “equal” products are proposed,
a. Bidder to provide product literature and pricing for each alternate:
bidders are reminded that the manufacturer / models specified set the
standard to be met by any alternative product.
2. Owner will “consider” alternate manufacturers provided they are “equal” in
all aspects – all changes to physical size or service requirements must be
highlighted in a separate alternate price submission or implications relating
to added costs will be considered included within the alternate fixture price.
3. Also required as part of the submission, and in addition to the “Tender
Forms”, kitchen equipment bidder must provide;
a. Corporate profile and experience,
b. Proof of current WCB coverage,
c. Proof of insurance,
d. Equipment delivery schedule.
8. Work shall be carried out in full cooperation with the Owner and the Owner’s subtrades. Delivery and installation of equipment supplied to be included based on stipulated conditions specified in 11 40 00.
