This new document will serve as a guide for incorporating sustainable landscaping into site design, including but not limited to screening of parking areas, buildings, boulevards and subdivisions. The standard will be applicable to both the Town of Hinton contracts and private development projects and is intended to provide information to developers, engineering, contractors, utility companies and Town departments, regarding the standards guiding the design, preparation and submission of plans and application for construction of open spaces, trails and landscaping.
