24-1550 - 24-1550 Supply and Install of Air Heaters, Auxiliary Heating and Air Conditioning Units with Rooftop Condensers

1 - This RFP is open to all interested suppliers.
2 - The City of Calgary (“The City”) requires the supply and install of various HVAC (“Heating, Ventilation & Air Conditioning”) related equipment on a variety of City owned assets including but not limited to light vehicles, heavy chassis units and off-road equipment.
Fleet Services is responsible for managing and maintaining The City of Calgary’s fleet of vehicles and equipment, and have identified an ongoing requirement for Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) services to be performed on various categories of fleet vehicles.
The City of Calgary wishes to engage qualified proponents, capable of providing services that may include, but are not limited to coolant, air and auxiliary heaters, air conditioning units, and rooftop condensers as outline in Appendix F - Deliverables.
The City has a requirement for different types of HVAC services to be performed on various categories as outlined in the below schedules:
Schedule A: Light fleet HVAC installation
Schedule B: Heavy Truck HVAC installation
Schedule C: Auxiliary equipment HVAC installation
3 - This procurement process is not intended to create, and, will not create, a formal, legally binding bidding process. It will instead be governed by the law applicable to direct commercial negotiations.
4 - The Agreement will be for an initial term of one (1) year. The Agreement may be renewed, two (2) times for two (2) years each time, no more than five (5) years in total.
