Almonte County Haven is an existing 82 bed long-term care home located in Almonte Ontario. The home is undergoing a modernization and expansion from an 82 bed facility, to a 96 bed long-term care home. The existing building is a masonry bearing-wall, slab on grade structure, with a flat roof, and partial walk-out basement. Exterior walls are clad in arch concrete block masonry veneer. The interior is to undergo a substantial renovation. The existing building is approximately 25,000 square feet. The proposed addition will be approximately 35,000 square feet. It will be a two-storey, masonry bearing wall with core slab structure, slab on grade, with a flat roof and 2 new elevators.
